Exploring Physics and Beyond...

about

I am an enthusiastic of Science with a Licentiate of Physics from the Simón Bolívar University (USB) at Venezuela and a MSc. in Condensed Matter & Nano-physics from the University of Strasbourg. My expertise are in the topics of Quantum Information Processing (QIP) with superconductors, Quantum Information physics in ultra-cold Rydberg atoms and Particle Physics.

My research in the Quantum Information and Communication Group (QIC) at USB was focus in the study of algorithms and errors in different kind of systems as superconducting qubits and Majorana fermions.

Currently, I am doing a PhD in physics in the Lab of Quantum Exotic Matter at Strasbourg within the MSCA-EUCOR QUSTEC trinational programme and EUR QMat

Many of my interests are related to science & technology which is the reason of why in my early career I have participated in several activities not completely related to Physics. Starting with the Rocket Science in the school, passing through Automotive and Environmental engineering (Formula SAE and alternative energy projects) in the first years of university, until real Physics work in my junior and senior years in which I had the opportunity to work with Optics, Phenomenological Particle Physics and Theoretical and Experimental Quantum Computing.

I also enjoy other hobbies like photography and sports such as: football soccer and Formula 1, in which my favorite teams are Real Madrid and Ferrari.

Here you can find a little bit of everything, I hope you enjoy it!
